NYHCPS is asking for your help in our effort to restore, preserve, and maintain our historic cemeteries. We need volunteers to assist us in removing debris (tree limbs, leaves, etc.) from the cemeteries. We also need detailed people to transcribe headstone inscriptions and to take photographs of each headstone. We are looking for reliable people to follow proper procedure to clean headstones so they are not damaged. It is of the utmost importance that volunteers follow the safety procedures that NYHCPS will be implementing throughout each project.
